		<description>Re: employees leading the charge.  This is a very common feeling on college campuses, like Caltech.  I&#039;m a student rep on an administration sustainability committee, and I feel my role is really to agitate until they agree to do things.  The middle-of-the-stack folks are the ones who get things done, and sometimes get positive feedback from the top, and reassurance from the students.  That said, having a new President (~CEO of the school) has made a huge difference because he cares, and everyone wants to please him....  Reduced friction for activism -&gt; results.</description>
