  1. Jeff Hazel says

Regarding the “Four Gaps Smart Grid Can Bridge,” we suggest a fifth. For the Smart Grid to take wing, utilities first need smart CIS solutions that will help utilities leverage real-time interactive data from and to in-home smart meters, and automation that delivers a superior service experience. New smart CIS solutions make both capabilities possible and in the process point energy companies to their “Golden Gate”: greater efficiency, improved power plant utilization, and a new retail business model where can utilities partner with solar and other green product manufacturers & solutions providers to market high-margin consumer products.
